INTERIOR DESIGN INTERNSHIP WITH NO COMPENSATION
WE WILL REIMBURSE YOUR METROCARD.
High-end interior design firm located Upper East Side seeks an Interior Design Intern.
This position supports senior staff in the execution of residential projects.
The ideal candidate is ENTHUSIASTIC, highly motivated with a passion for design, disciplined, personable, able to multi-task and juggle with skill and humor.
We are interested in speaking with applicants who possess resourcefulness, a desire to learn, strong communication skills, good phone manners, are organized and extremely detail-oriented.
Activities to include:
- Various errands and trips to the D&D Building
- Researching and ordering of furniture, fabrics, & accessories
- Organization of project files
- Light drafting of floor plans and elevations
- Preparation of presentations
- Place reserves, request CFA`s & estimates from vendors
- Type Payment Requests and Purchase Orders
- Maintenance of resource library
- Diverse administrative tasks as needed
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9.0AM – 5PM.
